This year’s Friends’ Annual Dinner will be on

Our guest speaker this year will be:
Alene Onion, Research Scientist for the NYSDEC Division of Water.
Alene will discuss the overall health of Dyken Pond, “How is Dyken Pond Doing”, as compared with other lakes in New York State. The discussion will center around the Dyken Pond Waterbody Assessment Report, which covers Evaluated data, Trophic state, Hazardous Algea Blooms, Invasive Species, Depth Profile and other parameters of the lake. This talk will interest not only the Friends but also anyone who resides on Dyken Pond, or recreates at Dyken Pond. Spread the word!
6:00 pm Dinner by Paolo Lombardi’s
7:00 pm Board Meeting and 2026 report on Friends’ activities and accomplishments. Conduct vote for Board of Directors members.
7:30 pm Presentation by Alene Onion
Buffet Dinner: $45 per person
Menu: Garden Salad, Mini Meatballs, Chicken Marsala, Pasta Primavera, Sauteed Broccoli, Bread and Butter, Cake, Coffee, Tea and Water.
To attend the dinner, payment for each dinner reservation must be received by Sunday October 11, 2026. Dinner is open to all, please invite your friends, as well.
