Winter Snowshoeing and Skiing
All trails are open free of charge for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. There is no entrance fee to the park. The Center is managed as a back-country area, meaning that trails are not groomed and breaking trail may be a necessity at times. We encourage trail users to maintain separate tracks for snowshoeing and skiing whenever possible.
Snow conditions will be updated on a regular basis on this website’s side bar. Dyken Pond Center is located at an elevation of 1600 – 1800 feet. The snow pack can be much heavier here than at lower lying elevations. Check conditions frequently.
Snowshoes are available for rent with advance notice. Rates are:
$5 for half day per person
$10 full day per person
Guided group rates: $5 per person for a 2 hour program.
